Another week, another round of interesting and potentially useful (for the final assignment) stories concerning a range of issues.

The ongoing struggle over the direction of Ukraine has the government hiring people to act as pro-government protesters. 

The wealthy venture capitalist that compared criticism of the rich to the persecution of Jews by the Nazis also thinks that his vote should count for more than a poor person’s vote.

Mayors around Indiana are resisting a plan by Governor Pence to cut equipment taxes on small businesses which provides about $1 billion a year for cities, towns, counties, schools, and libraries.

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is mired in a scandal involving allegations that officials received bribes in exchange for ignoring zoning rules and approving contentious development projects.
